Buxton NC is one of the seven beaches on Hatteras Island. Buxton Beach is surrounded by Avon and Frisco Beach.

Buxton Island is famous for its two spots. Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and Cape Fishing point.

One of the biggest and tallest things to see at Buxton NC is Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.

If you want to have an aerial view of surroundings of Buxton Beach. You can climb on the top of the lighthouse after paying the nominal charges.

Cape Hatters Lighthouse remains open from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm during the season.

At the ground of Lighthouse, There is a museum for visitors and a gift shop.
